Fellowships that help high school students jump start their global careers

Do you know a high school student who wants to pursue a career that spans the globe, like working for a multinational company or being a diplomat for the United States government? Encourage them to apply for an Albrecht Fellowship, the ticket to jumpstarting their global career. Albrecht fellows participate in the World Trade Center Institute’s eight-month Youth Diplomats Program, which will start in January.

Albrecht fellows participate in the World Trade Center Institute’s eight-month Youth Diplomats Program, which will start in January.    More Info & Apply   During the program, students take their learning to the next level by meeting global business leaders from the Mid-Atlantic who teach them about environmental sustainability, refugee migration, and other issues pertinent to global affairs. And they acquire soft skills, like how to communicate across cultures and be a confident public speaker.  The Carnegie Endowment for International Peace, Soccer Without Borders, and the Institute of Marine and Environmental Technology. These are just some of the entities that have conducted workshops for Albrecht fellows in the past.   Applications for the next cohort are due November 15th. The program is open to high school sophomores, juniors, and seniors.    More Info & Apply
