Dear TPP Members,

TPP has been a supporter of the St. Mary’s County Science Fair for many years.  The Science Fair takes place due to the efforts of the St. Mary’s County Science and Engineering Fair Board.  Now is the time to support the upcoming 64th St. Mary’s County Science and Engineering Fair, which is another way to build our STEM pipeline.  Click the links for information about sponsoring awards, advertising, and volunteering as board members, judges, and project mentors.  You will be amazed at the work of these students.

Thank you for your continued support.

Dear Business Partner,
The St. Mary’s County Science Fair and Engineering Fair Board would like to invite you to support the upcoming 64th St. Mary’s County Science and Engineering Fair. Last year’s Science Fair was exciting and quite successful, with over 60 student projects entered and 50 awards given, totaling over $4,000.00 in value. Thirty-nine local Science Fair winners were selected to compete at the Prince George’s Area Regional Science Fair. The support of our business partners played an integral role in encouraging and enabling students to excel through the various Science Fair levels.

The 2023 St. Mary’s County Science and Engineering Fair will be held in person on Saturday, January 28, 2023. The award ceremony will be that same afternoon. As always, the Science Fair is open to the public, non-public and home-schooled students of St. Mary’s County. The science fair is the perfect venue for these students to share their talents in experimental methodologies, engineering design and testing, and other scientific aspects of their projects. The goal of the Science Fair is to stimulate an interest in Science, Mathematics and Engineering to provide an extraordinary learning experience for our youth with the long-term goal of producing scientists, engineers, mathematicians, and computer scientists. The local Science Fair has a long history of success in these endeavors. With your help, the Science Fair Board looks forward to encouraging many more students in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics.

Please consider supporting the 2023 St. Mary’s County Science and Engineering Fair. While some support is received from St. Mary’s County Public Schools, the overall support comes primarily via donations from businesses organizations like yours. Your support provides awards, plaques, and certificates. It also helps us cover the registration fees for students to participate in the Prince George’s Regional Fair and supports any entrants that advance to the Regeneron International Science and Engineering Fair.
