Engineer Like a Girl

Engineer Like A Girl is a one-week summer program hosted by the College of Southern Maryland (CSM) to increase awareness and familiarize high school girls in Southern Maryland with career opportunities in the field of engineering. The goal of this program is to stomp out negative stereotypes commonly associated with women’s ability to pursue careers in math and science related fields.

Participate in workshops, hands-on activities, and projects in a wide range of engineering disciplines. A day visit to NAVAIR is included in the program.

There are two sessions offered:
July 15 – 19, 2019 at CSM Leonardtown Campus
August 12 – 16, 2019 at CSM La Plata Campus

Registration closes on June 15, 2019!  Space is limited so be sure to register early.

**$50 registration fee may be waived for those with a demonstrated financial need.
